Worbe Budget ("the app", "we", "us") is designed to keep your financial information private and under your control. This policy explains what we collect, how it is used, who receives it, and your choices.
You can use Worbe Budget without creating an account. In this mode, the budget data you enter — budgets, transactions, income, deductibles, invoices, and goals — is stored only on your device. We do not receive or have access to it. The app still sends the limited usage information described in sections 3 and 4, which contains none of your budget data.
If you choose to create an account (via Sign in with Apple or email and password), we store the data you enter in the app on our secure cloud backend so it can sync across your devices and, if you choose, be shared with family members you invite. This includes your budgets, transactions, income, taxes, deductibles, savings goals, debts, subscriptions, invoices, and the business and client details you add to invoices (names, addresses, phone numbers, and the payment details you choose to print). For account creation we process your email address (or the identifier provided by Sign in with Apple) solely to authenticate you and sync your data.
To understand how the app is used and improve it, the app records a small number of events, such as opening the app, finishing setup, adding a first expense, or a trial starting or ending. Each event contains the event name, a few short labels (for example, how the app was opened), a random identifier created for this installation of the app, and, if you are signed in, your account identifier. Events never contain amounts, names, notes, or other budget content. They are stored on our backend. If you delete your account, these events are kept but are no longer linked to your account.
We advertise Worbe Budget on Facebook and Instagram. To measure whether those ads lead to installs, the app includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK, which sends Meta Platforms, Inc.: app installs and launches, in-app subscription purchases (product and price), the setup, first-expense and trial-end events described in section 3, and technical information about your device (such as device model, operating system version, language, and time zone).
Meta handles this data under its own policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
We do not sell your personal or financial data, and we do not use your financial data for advertising.
If you invite a family member, the budget data in your account becomes visible to the accounts you explicitly invite. You can revoke access at any time in Settings → Family Access.
Data stored only on your device is removed when you delete the app. If you have an account, you can permanently delete your account and all associated synced data at any time directly in the app, in Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Usage events are then kept without any link to you (section 3). You may also request deletion by emailing us at the address below.
Worbe Budget is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
